How it Works
Remote online meetings are here to stay for the future. But what will the future look like? Our virtual presence project used an IR sensor (that could be built into the camera of your laptop) to create a 3D model, called a “Mesh Cloud”, of each participant. This technology enables immersive virtual solutions in VR. Our research also compressed the mesh so it couldd be sent across low-bandwidth links.
